Seagull 0.6.0 stable released

August 14, 2006 12:03, contributed by: seagull

Last night a release went out for the long-anticipated Seagull 0.6.0
stable, details on packages and download info available here:

http://seagullproject.org/download/

There will eventually be additional packages added to the release for
the pearball and GPL modules.

This one was a long time coming, breaking our 3 year pattern of a
release a month, blame it on the UK heatwave ;-)

A lot of interesting features and improvements went into this release,
perhaps the main one being the ability to install and remove optional
modules more easily - see changelog for full details:

On linux the code should just work, as usual, and have recently tested
on windows using XAMPP with identical positive results.  CGI users I
can't vouch for.

A big thanks to contributors who helped with patches, bug reports, and
new features, in particular thanks to Steve Stremciuc, Julien Casanova,
Werner Krauss, Malaney Hill, Rares Benea, Elijah Insua, Matt Flaherty,
Thomas Goetz, AJ Tarachanowicz and Marian Seitner.

Enjoy!
